Should I pick up a Centipede Arcade Game???

Good looking Pede'! And thanks for preserving another classic! You gave it the home it deserved.

The adjustment you are looking for is on the monitor PCB. It is called the horizontal width coil. You will need a non-metallic adjustment tool that has a hex-shaped end on it.

here are some pics of the completed unit. would still like to continue to complete it to near mint condition, so only some cosmetic work is left.

still gotta figure out the screen settings. would like to stretch the screen a little more so it covers more of the bottom.

awsome man.. I still say centipedes look awsome with green t-molding..

I thought that would be needing adjusting cause it was one of the replacement parts. I'll do that, thanks!

Here is the Centipede with green t-molding that I found. Looks good to me.

Nice job on the Centipede restore. Ain't that sonofa-b heavy?! Mine was an already-converted Arkanoid: R.O.D. so I kept it a R.O.D. But it's easily one of my heaviest machines.

It's so heavy, I think my chick busted a nut trying to help me get it in the house.

I still cant believe you wanted to MAME this at first.
Cut him some slack, as you said, he's learning about restoring games. It's not like he's the arcade boneyard guy parting and burning cabs left and right
