so i bought this yesterday on an impulse without seeing better pix, i drove 3 hours round trip so i didnt want to walk away (should i have?) anyway the bottom lost the feet and the plywood sides are trashed, so much that it leans backward, the game in it is ninja gaiden and works fine but not really a must have for me, the paint is chipping away, the bottom of the particle board front is "spongy" now, im thinking of hacking the lower damaged section and raising up the screen relocating the marquee to under the CP. of course it would no longer be a ninja gaiden or stargate, maybe a 19 in 1? would it look weird short? should i go all out and narrow it?

i hate to completely trash it although it is completely trashed now IMO

I cut the bottom of my Sinistar on all 4 sides level with the plywood bottom. Around 2" in height. I then added 1" x 2"'s to replace the parts I cut off and the cab is back to the right height without having a trashed bottom. Bondo'd the seam and sanded and repainted. Put leg levers with plates on and your golden!
