Should I group my games together in rows??

I don't blame you. That machine is awfully sweet as is!

Yeah it really is. I drove 800 miles round trip for this baby. (secretly, I did buy the right sized dowel to fit the hole, I just haven't cut the slug yet. It's even painted red at the end.)

I know I'm late to the party but the only games I like to group are Nintendo... all the others are just randomly placed with no rhyme or reason.

Yeah...I'm definitely in the minority here.

I like games randomly placed...it kinda reminds me of what they used to look like BITD.

At least around here...non of the arcades had a Nintendo row.. or an Atari row

I am starting to lean towards this as well. I don't ever remember Asteroids, beside Space Duel, Beside Astroids Deluxe, i am going to mix mine up this weekend.

I prefer them all mixed up too. The mix up method was how I remember the arcades growing up, and I think it worked better at the Seattle show last year than the themed groups the year before.

Stunt Cycle seems totally out of place with all your other games in VAPS. I pretty much draw the line at black and white games. Unless it is some really cool vector game.

I kinda like these 2 together. :)

I bought NBA Jam as a project, and just finished getting it up and running. Now I gotta try to remember how to play. lol

I usually group mine. But honestly these damn Atari games all look so random anyways, and I only have 2 or 3 non-Atari titles (currently Q*bert and Super Punch-Out!!), so it's hardly like grouping at all.

If DK ever comes back from storage limbo I may not put it right next to Super Punch-Out!! though. Might look odd having the two similar looking cabinets next to each other lined up to all the dissimilar Atari stuff.

Here is mine all mixed up and random, don't care for it actually. Took me hours to do this so won't be putting it back anytime soon. Anyways here is a video:

Really nice! Good that you're keeping it that way for a while to see if it grows on you. It may, especially if you were able to get one more game in there VS. the old setup.

I have mine where they look nice. That means it looks completely random but somehow it feels right when I look at it. I try to kind of shuffle it a bit I guess.
