If I buy this arcade it will be my second in 1 week and I started 1 week ago and I'm already addictive, LOL. So here is my questions I have the chance to buy the game "Contra" it's in good shape and working condition and the price his asking is $200. Is this a good price ?

Thanks in advance for your help !!!

That's up to you! Don't let anyone else tell you what you should buy or not. Any decent looking 100% working game is a good buy at $200 IF it's a game you like or want in your arcade. Remember it's YOUR arcade so buy what YOU want and not what others say is what you should have. Keep in mind how much space you have to fill with games and keep an eye out for the ones you really want the most.

This is very inportant, when i got started i was picking up every cheap cab i saw then i started focusing on the games i wanted.Contra is a fun game I have it on my Playchoice but ive beaten it so many times i rarely play it anymore.

Play about 10 games on it first. Check the monitor. Look in the back of the cab. Check the harness and power supply. Check the whole game. Even the power cord . And in the coin door. If he's asking for 200.00 he may take 150.00 or even 100.00. It can't hurt to ask. Unless it's a game that you must have. Then pay it and consider yourself lucky you found the game in the wild. I also open Hand slap some games on the side. Not real hard just enough to see if the game has monitor issues. "some people might freak out if you do this". I have found a bunch of problems in games just by a little bump. Over all 200.00 is not a bad price for any game. I always say any old game that is in good working order is worth 200.00 and can be sold for that much. Good luck friend and happy gaming.

It is an OK price if it is a game you want. If you are trying to flip it, it probably wouldn't be. I went for years refusing to spend over $200 for a game. Now I buy what I actually want, and I am really enjoying my games more.

price is fair if the monitor looks good. Cab is 2 player 2 button jamma, so you can easily convert it to something else if you like. If its going to be your 1st game, its not a bad choice.

I think so. I purchased my Super Contra in a dedicated cab for $250. I think it's worth it if the monitor is nice and the cp is clean.

I don't have room for a game and I'd drop $200 for a JAMMA cab with a working game and monitor in it right now. JAMMA is like getting a sweet retro console -0 you can add a LOT of boards to your collection and swap them in and out as you see fit. Not to mention Contra is a pretty good game.

$200 is a good price if it's in good working condition. And it's JAMMA so you can use it to play other vertical JAMMA games, especially shooters. I don't know if you can rotate the monitor in that cab to play horizontal games. I think the Contra pcb by itself sells for at least $100, so I think $200 is a good price.
