Here's a perfect example of how I'm not as "game crazy" as I once was. A 19" cab (looks very Wizard of Woresque with the front access door on the bottom but not quite the same) with the following working boardsets has been on the local CL for weeks now...

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
2. Shinobi
3. Golden Axe
4. Street Fighter 2
5. Beastorizer
6. Dragon Spirit (Vertical)
7. Super Contra (Vertical)
8. Gondomania (Vertical)
9. Heavy Barrel (Vertical)
10. Karnov
11. The Real Ghostbusters
12. Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja
13. Black Tiger
14. Dark Adventure
15. NBA Jam

I emailed the guy and he says the monitor is bright but does have some PLAYER 1/CREDIT burn. The cab looks solid but is pretty ugly...

What do you all think the boardsets are worth if I sold them here/ebay? Also... what cab is that?

I'd say the boards are easily worth $300 plus. There are a few boards that are in fairly high demand like TMNT, The Real Ghostbusters, Dragon Spirit but there are a few boards that no one seems to want such as Bad Dudes and Dark Adventure. Of course, then you have to figure out what you will do with the cab, it looks pretty horrible in the pics...

Edit: The cab reminds me of Tutankham.

Yeah... I just talked to the owner... it's a Tut cab. Is Tut a game worthy of restoring?

I think I'm gunna pull the trigger. I can make a couple bucks... have fun... and perhaps keep the cabinet for a simple to swap vertical JAMMA cab (I already have a simple to swap horizontal cab in the Capcom Anthology cab I have).

Yes.

Sideart is available (TOG, I think) and marquees pop up on eBay fairly regularly. The only problem is the CPO. I have only seen one decent condition CPO and it was sold before I got the chance to grab it. Hopefully whoever bought it intends to scan it for future reproduction...

Maybe I'll bust out a few games of Tut on the MAME cab and determine whether it's worth restoring. I'm most concerned with the harness... I'm quite sure Tut isn't JAMMA (and obviously this cab has been JAMMAtized).

It is not Jamma. Tut uses two joysticks, the left one is a four way used for movement and the right is a two way for shooting. It is an interesting game to play...

KLOV says is uses the Konami classic pinout. Doesn't someone make a JAMMA adapter for that? You could always go that route if a harness is a pain to find.

AS sells one for $35.00... hmmm...

The game seems quite interesting from what I've been reading. I've never played it before.

Tutankham gets unfairly criticized for its 2-way firing scheme but I think it makes the game a little harder and far more interesting that way.

Dark Adventure sells for big $$$. Probably more than any other PCB on that list.

Really? I have seen Dark Adventure boards and cabs both just sit with no interest displayed towards them. I tend to only buy stuff I am interested in so I never bothered with the Dark Adventure stuff...

OK... lets get some reasonable prices (before shipping) for each game...

If I can average $40 a board, it's worth it for me.

Sure... I know a few won't pull $40... but as long as others pull more than $40 and make up for the turds, this is a done deal.

I watched eBay for a long time trying to get mine. They always were around $100 if not more, and they rarely came up. People usually want the board as the cab breaks the deal when you have to ship. I sold my Dark Adventure PCB , marquee and dedicated control panel on klov about a year ago for $160. Hard to find game. I only saw that game in an arcade once in 87 in Florida. They had all the good stuff in FL back in the day. Also, the only place I ever saw a Super Punchout back in the day too.

I would say the only ones you will get $40 or more on before shipping are these ones...

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
4. Street Fighter 2 ??? - Original plain SF2? Maybe not if that is the case.
5. Beastorizer ??? - Never heard of it, so I have no clue.
6. Dragon Spirit (Vertical)
7. Super Contra (Vertical)
11. The Real Ghostbusters
14. Dark Adventure
15. NBA Jam

The big hitters are Ghostbusters, Dark Adventure and TMNT for sure. You should try to just pick those up.

These are based off of my observations and assume the board is fully working:

1. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles $60
2. Shinobi $30
3. Golden Axe $35
4. Street Fighter 2 $15 to 60 as there are many different varieties
5. Beastorizer $45
6. Dragon Spirit (Vertical) $90
7. Super Contra (Vertical) No idea
8. Gondomania (Vertical) $45
9. Heavy Barrel (Vertical) $30
10. Karnov $30
11. The Real Ghostbusters $90
12. Bad Dudes vs. Dragon Ninja $30
13. Black Tiger $35
14. Dark Adventure $30
15. NBA Jam $60

Again, these are the prices I consider normal and they do not include shipping.
