should I be pissed?

Is there really a reason to be a dick? You might be right, but we still hope he can fight it. Its worth trying.

What part of "PHOTOS ARE MEANINGLESS!!!" is not being grasped here?

It was as DESCRIBED, you are screwed.

You think stock photos are provided as a seller service to entrap buyers? Read words.

Just to reiterate for the truly dense : >>>PICTURES ON EBAY ARE IRRELEVANT<<<

Care to show me the "DESCRIBED" part Mr. CAPS LOCK?

By your logic he could have hand drawn the shit on scrap paper!

Not my intent, but when 5 people come in after I just stated the facts and tell him to fight on the description clause - I can't help but point out the ignorance. I'd like to see the seller make good out of the goodness of his heart, too, but we all know that isn't going to happen. I'm trying to teach you all the lesson he is about to learn.

And yeah, I'm the guy who will yank you out of your Honda and beat you down in the middle of rush hour for texting at a green light. Stupid people piss me off - and that's just about everyone.

And for the record, it does specifically state that handmade items are inclusions in stated condition. So yes, he could have drawn it on a sheet of paper. Consider yourself lucky.

Photos are part of the description and will be taken into account. The photo for sale shows a mask, the product received does not, that is enough.

However, i'm hoping that the buyer and seller are communicating and making things right between themselves without klov's involvement.

Looks like we have a tough guy here. You my be right ,but just because you said it doesn't mean people should'nt be allowed to further discuss it. I'd like to see you yank me out of a car, although you would'nt catch me texting while driving. Another internet tough guy.

Having a photo of a very, very similiar item that is not indicated as not the actual item for auction is very misleading. Take those screen snaps and send them, he will delete that photo, if he has the ability to do so. I think you will win a dispute.
If I posted an auction for a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner and posted a picture of a cherry RR in the auction and did not say that the auction was for the vechile pictured but then delivered a rust bucket upon winning the auction, how would this be any different?

Sorry, you are wrong. i filed a complaint and won based on what was pictured was not what i received. Basically, the description was too vague, as is the case here as well.

What i bought: It was a commemorative soda can. In the world of collecting soda cans we empty them from the bottom because in time they WILL leak yet we still want the look of a full can. The pic's(3 of them) in the auction plainly showed an unopened can that still had the tab intact. The desription was plain and simple. It didn't state it was full OR empty. When i got it, not only was the can opened at the top but the tab was missing. CERTAINLY not what was pictured. I sent the info to ebay and got my money refunded.

Isn't that just a stock ebay description of what "new" means? not at all part of the sellers description. so ya, it could be drawn by crayon but a drawing is not what is pictured. It also states in the inclusions you refer to as "unopened"... taking the masking off is considered opening it IMHO.

"Seller assumes all responsibilty for this listing" is at the top of every item description in ebay auctions.

"Including pictures in your listings helps buyers decide whether to purchase your item. Always provide clear and detailed pictures that truly represent your item so there's no confusion about what you're selling." is also in the ebay guidelines.

again for the truly dense "......Always provide clear and detailed pictures that truly represent your item so there's no confusion about what you're selling."

and again ".....truly represent your item so there's no confusion about what you're selling"

I just got ebay ripped on something like that not too long ago. The item was cheaper, but the same idea. The picture that was shown was not the item I purchased.

The seller cancelled the item, but never refunded my money. After a bit I opened a case with paypal and it was declined immediately. They stated that even though the picture was not of the item described, I still got what was described in the listing. Seems like a stupid way of selling things, but thats about it. Whatever is in the picture doesnt mean shit to Ebay apparently. I never got my money back even AFTER I sent the item back. It was only $15 so I got over it, but still...

I'm surprised by this. I ordered the Qix art from this seller about a month ago and it shipped fast and was of nice quality (screened, but no mask). It was exactly as the picture showed.

Hopefully you guys sort it out.

Use the link in the first post and you'll see it in the listings. It was Qix art from the Qix/Space Invaders combo that was released a few years ago (maybe in 2002-3?). It's probably too small to use on a normal Qix cabinet, but I only bought it because I thought it was cool and could use it as a poster or something in the arcade room.
