The animatronic bookcase was shut off for this vid (you can see that one fully featured in the vid linked in my signature), but I just wanted to grab a quick vid of my current lineup since I haven't recorded anything since October of 2011. The video is of my main game room and my pirate bar, which also has some games. Enjoy!

Looks great, I watched as soon as I got the YouTube notification! Didn't realize you had so many Pinballs, thought you were more of an Arcade guy.

I bounce back and forth. I started off as more of a pin guy, then moved to mainly vids, then back to pins. Now I'm trying to find a balance between the two. I'm currently at 2:1 vids to pins, which feels about right.

arcade

nice, i have what used to be a toy room and now a little bit of both. the starwars stuff looks nice when its actually out of the box. unfortunately those toys lose all value after being removed from packaging. i usually buy 2pcs, one to stash and one to display.
i have a tron pin and was wondering what it is you have around the speakers of your tron. the monster bash looks incredible, but i would hate to pay 10k for older pin. nice mb topper btw. thanks for posting, i see you are into the macabre, do you have kids and are they scared by some of your things (the guy getting buzz sawed is freaky).

i like the plaides and phoenix combo, i dont think the 60-1 does justice to the original sound of those games.
i agree with you on pins, i was originally just an arcade guy and didnt want to hear bout pins, now i love the pins also!

Well...........That was the next best thing to a sexual encounter with a beautiful woman. And it was a close second, at that. Nice setup sir, very impressive.

Don't turn around with this guy in the room Dave...

;)

:)

He should be more concerned about leaving me alone with that Major Havoc!
Anyone else catch the full-body scan he gave us of that one? Sexy.

Dear Dave-

I don't know you, but I hate you..

Sincerely,

Some Jerk

..OK, I don't hate you, just a lot jealous. That's an amazing setup you have, and I would kill for a sampling of pins like you have. I have to almost win the lottery to be able to get the OK from the wife to buy a $1k pinball, much less a SPP or MB (honestly, I'd rather have the TRON).. Kudos on following through on one of the greatest gamerooms around, both in decor and in game selection.

Wow! Thank you all so much for the kind words. It really means a lot. I'm always looking for new ways to spruce up the game room and make things more fun, so it makes me feel really good to get positive feedback from a group of folks that I admire.

i have a tron pin and was wondering what it is you have around the speakers of your tron.

Those are light-up mirrored identity disc speaker grill inserts from pinballtoppers.com. They hook into the power behind the back glass and can be set to just about any color. They have different designs for several different Stern games, so check 'em out. I have their Duff beer can inserts on my Simpsons Pinball Party.

I got a pretty sweet deal on my MB, and it helped that it was right when I got my tax refund last year. It's my favorite pin of all time (though Tron is aggressively sneaking up on it) and I'm a sucker for the Universal Monsters theme. The topper is from Laseriffic and uses the same color-changing LEDs as the speaker mod on my Tron and Simpsons.

I don't have any kids, but my niece (4 years old) is terrified of my game room. The wife and I plan to have kids someday, so they'll just have to get used to it. :) My whole house is pretty Halloween-y.

Thanks! I bought a 60-1 several years back pretty much just so I could play Pleiades (one of my childhood favorites) and was incredibly disappointed in how lousy the sound was- so I got rid of it. I got the Phoenix in December with the intention of swapping in a Pleiades PCB and marquee, but then wound up working out a deal to get a dedicated Pleiades in the lineup. I just got the Pleiades machine on Sunday and I love it. It brings back some great memories.

all clear

thanks for answering all of my nosey questions and thanks for sharing!

Well shit man. I totally love the vibe in your arcade and bar. Halloween is by far my favorite holiday, I love pirates so much, I have a Jolly Roger tattoo'd on my wedding ring finger instead of an actual ring and of course I love arcades...hence why I'm on this forum.

So you've taken all three and rolled them into one big ball of awesomeness. I totally envy your setup man. Very very very nice.

I just wish we lived closer so I could actually take a peek with my own eyes.

Thanks! I've also got some tattoos to go with my obsession of horror and pirates. I've got a pirate ship on the left side of my ribcage, an octopus on the right, a Frankenstein's monster/Bride of Frankenstein themed half-sleeve on my right arm, and the wallpaper design from The Haunted Mansion ride on my right shoulder-blade.
