I was at a friend's house a couple weekends ago and he had set-up an air soft shooting gallery in his basement with shelves and different types of containers as targets.

...which gave me the thought that this might be a fun arcade addition! Has anyone here done this? I'd love to see some examples to get ideas from. I guess there are a few motifs to go with but I am thinking either 1920's ish or 1885 ish.

Thoughts and pics appreciated!!!

this would be a cool idea, although I suggest using weak guns with .20 rounds to minimize on ricochet.

They are air-soft guns... do they make these in different caliber?!?

My buddy set it up with a sheet in the back and the shelves are recessed a couple feet inside what amounts to a giant wood frame so shouldn't be too much ricochet...

ah gotcha. i've been airsofting for 6 or so years and damn near anywhere you look on the ground outside, you'll probably find a pellet. they just go everywhere. they're all 6mm(although they make a few 8mm), but the pellets come in different weights, .12-.30. the sheet is definitely a great idea.

Could put a piece of wood at a 45degree angle in the back, that would make the balls ricochet down onto a foam mat or something similar. Hell, you could make a custom chute so the balls would return to the front of the cabinet. That would make it pretty easy for collection and whatnot.

Now were talking! Thanks for the idea...
