Would any one happen to know If I have to hunt down an original spring for the shooter mechanism in Hyperball, or is this a spring I can get from any pin supply site? My google-fu is weak, and I haven't been able to track down an answer. Needless to say the spring for the shooter is pretty ineffective right now.

Thanks
Tim

Tim,
Sorry to hear the spring broke. I have contacted a guy who supposedly has a full playfield. I will keep you posted.
Also did you try Pinball Resource? 845-473-7114.

Took the assembly apart to give it a good cleaning and It turns out the spring wasn't broken, It had just somehow gotten compressed and twisted somehow? It was weird, but untwisted it, cleaned the shooter shaft and now It's all good....

Except for the NOP letters not registering when I hit them. Tomorrow I'm going to try and diagnose that issue.

Spring is part number 10-370. John's Jukes has some (www.flippers.com)

It's very similar to a flipper return spring except it's shaped more like a barrel because it's big in the middle and small at both ends.
