Which one would you buy: Terminator II for 500$ or Operation Thunderbolt for 200$

Both are in very good condition.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts !

both are in very heavy cabinets, both are very short lived games if on freeplay, would be more if you like arnie and T2 or a combat theme, I would go with T2

Operation Wolf is the more iconic game which older generations would enjoy, but T2 offers two players, better graphics, and better resale value.

The obvious answer is BOTH. :)

But I'd twitch at paying 500 for T2.
I'd rather buy a beat up one with problems for 100 and fix it.
T2, when the guns are calibrated with newer pots, the kickers are maintenanced and the explosion flashers are working is a damn fine machine. Getting the kicker mechanism working good on an Op Wolf is no easy task. Plus it uses lightgun technology and all that screen flashing gets annoying. You have sustained a lethal injury. Sorry, but you are finished. Here.

Take a wild guess which one this kid is voting for.

I think that Operation Thunderbolt is a much better game.

Yeah, but he said Operation Thunderbolt, which is not as desirable or well known as Wolf. If it was a Wolf i'd take it over T2 cause of the price. Spent alot of time on Operation Wolf back in the day.

Yeah, I totally missed that until earlier today. Everytime I see "Operation" my mind wanders to the Wolf. My bad. No competition. The T2 is better game and holds higher value.

Is Thunderbolt inferior to Wolf as of the gaming experience or do you simply consider it of less value because it is not as known as its predecessor ?

Just so you know, I'm picking up the T2 cab today, but I'm still considering buying both.

Since I was told those cabs hare huge heavy monsters, I don't know if Thunderbolt is worth the trip (it's 4 hours from where I live) and the effort...
