Shoot the Skull

I do not believe so.
Seeburg's flyer for "Shoot the Bear" shows the steel legs.

Earlier Ray-O-Lite games (e.g. "Chicken Sam") had full wood cabinets, though.

There were several conversion kits for these earlier models that featured different characters and artwork.

I forgot that I had an actual marquee for this hidden in the basement.

Bear reverses upon a hit.
Spook is in a constant state of reversal based on an end of travel toggle switch.

I will duplicate the front target for the rear. This will help cause a distraction and more artwork.

Waiting for paint to dry. Next weekend I head off to our annual 300-mile garage sale. I have picked up Gyruss/Berzerk, Defender and a puck bowler there. We will see if I bring home something shiny to distract me.

Both light boxes have been rebuilt and new sockets installed. Those original Seeburg ones suck.

Life is getting in the way of painting. I am prepping for the amplifier work. Hopefully one of these transformers works. It will be another long journey to get one of those working.

Looks like Seaburg Juke Box Tech. I'd hit John's Jukes or @kittybeater to see what they have.

I tried finding my spray gun in my "well organized" garage. I could not find it and had to make the trip to Harbor Freight. They have the only hobby spray gun that works with a small air compressor. It is currently on sale for $8. I set my tank for 50lbs unloaded/25 loaded and did not touch the factory settings.

The good news: my amplifier is tested in my Shoot the Bear. I will now have to modify it for my Spook. It has a different movement, and I will have to modify how the Spook moves side to side.

The bad news: my Bear frame always had a crack that finally broke while testing.

Which Halloween? All of my projects are for me. I have no time frame and do not do this for the money.

I have a stove bolt holding my part in place. I have roughed up the edges. The JB weld will have something to hold on to.

I just got my artwork back. Rather than find or rework my original skull, he hand-drew a skull for me.

I am going with a black light theme for the back art. It should suit him well.
