How do you guys typically strap and wrap a game to a 4x4 pallet? Do you use those steel straps or do you go some other route?

I was thinking of wrapping it in that big-ass plastic wrap, cardboard, more wrap, then some sort of strap system to hold it to the pallet, but my imagination turned off at that point.

I have someone interested in my MB Widebody. It's fully restored and I don't want it getting messed up if I can help it.

Thanks.

Upon arrival NAVL will put item on a pallet, throw a shipping blanket over/around it then shrink wrap it. I don;t remember how much each item is insured for so be sure to ask and add extra insurance if needed.

Ah. OK. I didn't know they packaged it up. Convenient. Thanks.

I've shipped with NAVL several times and they have never palleted. Maybe they do if you ask for it; I would expect there to be an additional charge. Also, they tend to just put cardboard corner protectors on it and then make a couple of passes with shrink wrap. Whether or not a shipping blanket is used seems to be up to the driver and how conscientious he is.

All that said, I have had no problems shipping with NAVL. Everything has arrived in the same condition it was in when it left.

Each game is insured for up to $1500. You can buy additional if needed.

I never asked for it. Maybe it differs from branch to branch of how things are handled? My first and to date only experience with NAVL was a deal made out of Phoenix AZ. They did exactly as I described earlier. To be safe DanoND ask for clarification when you call them.

I make sure to pack it up well before any shipping
