whats the best way, in your opinion, to ship a PCB/marquee?

USPS? UPS? fed ex?

I ship alot of pcb's and always ship UPS. I gave up on the post office long ago.

I use fedex, but ups is just as good. If you setup an account, you will get a small discount on shipping.

It all comes down to how you prepare your package. Double box it and 3" of protection all around and it will get there safe. I would anti static bag the pcb, then bubble wrap it with the marquee enough to fit snug is a small box(fedex medium box, or usps medium box). Then find a bigger box and use snails to protect the inner box.

now if your thinking cost, if its under 2 lbs or will fit in a flat rate box, usps might be cheaper. If your shipping out usa, usps will be cheaper.

If its larger than 2lbs, then fedex or ups will be cheaper. Fedex and ups have better tracking than usps and free 1st $100 in insurance. Plus I think the +$100 added insurnace rate is lower than usps.

also don't use white packing material near a pcb! Colored stuff is ok. Newspaper is a better choice than clear bubble wrap if you can't find an anti static bag.
