Well I'm sure a lot of you have already seen the new series on A&E, Shipping Wars, and wonderfully introduced a lot of people to a lovely looking option to shipping.

USHIP

That's right, you have shippers compete for your business and your more and likely to find someone you can trust to hand deliver the item as opposed to packing or crating it for USPS, Fedex, or UPS and having them break everything to pieces by throwing it at your door.

So it wouldn't be wonderful now that you can hire someone to personally deliver our delicates such as CRTs and otherwise large games! I think everyone should start using it now and put all the other so called packing and shipping industries we thought we were stuck with out of business!

Thoughts, Comments, or whatever?
About UShip and/or the show "Shipping Wars"

I have limited experience with it. When I was bidding on an EDOT the middle of last year, I set up a listing. I was quoted around $530 from STI/Precision for blanket wrap service, then used that as my target on UShip. I received one bid for $599 plus he wanted extra to pallet and wrap. Maybe it was because it was an auction and not guaranteed work, but I would have liked to see more bids.

That is an interesting idea and the show is entertaining. In the ads for the show, it looks like an empty cabinet that tips out of the open trailer. Maybe they are hinting not to ship games. LOL.

Someone on here was ripped off from a shipper using uship. The shipper picked up two games for him and never showed up with them. The buyer received a email or letter telling him the shipper went out of buiness and was given a phone number to call for the compant the shipper was renting his trucks from. When he called they had no idea where his games or there trucks were. It was posted by Radiac.
