I'm going to be shipping a few games from a location where they're not on the ground floor, and the owner doesn't have a way to get them there on his own.

What have you done to get games onto the ground floor for pickup, when they're across the country and you don't know anyone there?

You could inquire with the freight company about the added service, but it probably won't go well.

Maybe look up a moving company in the area, see if you can contract them to coordinate with the freight company, or at least move and wrap.

Pay NAVL/STI an extra $100 for the stairs. Standard procedure. They'll bring a powered dolly or extra guy. I've done it a couple of times when it was needed.

Thanks for the advice, I'm reaching out to see what it's going to take to get Michelle to deal with it.

I had few customers hired shipper from uship.com this year ,smaller shippers maybe easier to deal .
I had NAVL took game down stairs before , it was not cheap .
If any games need to be down stairs , I will ask customers hire their own shipper , since shipper will ask a lot questions about the stairs .
