I've never done it before, but I have someone interested in cab and was curious about shipping. It would be from Arizona to California.

I have a fedex account since I use them for most of my business shipping. Is Fedex Freight a good place to start?

Am I responsible for crating the cabinet, or do companies do it themselves?

Looking for any information. Thanks.

Wish I could be more helpful. I have only had one game shipped (to me) ever. I know a lot of people use NAVL and the company picks up the game at your door throws it on a pallet and delivers it to the other persons door for a cost. My game got to me fine this way. I will say that crating a game is a better way to go although I think few people here do it when they ship games. I doubt any shipper crates the game for you and if they do I would imagine it would be pretty costly. If you have a shipping account that can give you a fair rate that is great. you would have to ask if they provide palleting or crating and what that might cost. I think most sellers shrink wrap their games or possibly shrink wrap and a moving blanket and strap the game (ratchet strap) to a pallet.

I think a lot of people also pad the corners of the game with cardboard before shrink wrapping it.

Fed Ex freight is good company if you have an account with them..you get nice discount..they will pick the game up...you are responsible for packing it...they don't require anything special..your best bet is simply get a pallet from local home improvement place..they have extras..and shrinkwrap and cardboard the game and then strap to pallet..the game should be fine...I've shipped with fed ex a few times and they do a good job...used to be cheaper than NAVL too..I haven't used them in long time..since economy is crap no one wants to ship anymore....but they are a good option...but with gas now who knows..you should be able to get quote with zip codes and general idea of weight of the game.
