For those of you who dont know me, I am a retailer and ship games across this country everyday of my life. I have learned that "WHITE GLOVE" service blows balls.

If you want an easy smooth shipping experience and you and your buyer can agree to this then heres what you should do.

Grab a pallet, place game on pallet, wrap the shit out of the game, wrap it some more, strap it down with some tie downs or motorcycle straps, have a truckline like R+L pick it up with a liftgate.

I know brokers that will do 1 shipment for people. As long as you know you have to get it in or out of the house you will get WAY better service, faster transit times, and a whole lot less frustration.

Appointments are also usually way more accurate because the trucks almost always drop off in the morning hours and pick up in the afternoon unlike the white glove who deliver all day.

Ask any questions and ill try to help.

i am looking at shipping one or two games. what info do you have or how can you help with this??

I asked my guy and he said you can call him.

Call 1-866-966-7587 and ask for Tim. Just let him know what your wanting to do.

This goes for anyone. Call Tim. Hes great and knows games from me shipping them everyday through him.

the key is to make sure you wrap the shit out of what your sending, try to keep the pallet just a little bit bigger than the game and band it or strap it down nice and tight.

Any tips for shipping something like this? And/or approximate cost?

Thanks :)

Yeh put it on a pallet and wrap the shit out of it... :)

just messing with you. You would want to make sure that you do wrap it up really good. Lots of cardboard and shrink wrap. It wouldnt hurt to add a small block of wood around each side so it wont slip at all during shipping. You would also want to make sure you put a no stacking label <which can just be a piece of paper you hand write that on> on the top so nobody smashes it. Once all of this is done make sure you have it strapped down as tight as possible to the pallet.

If you call Tim and give him the weight and the pick up and drop off sites he can give you a quote.

I feel really noobish for asking this, but I am expecting something soon via frieght on a pallet and wanted to know what the best way is you might use to get the arcade off the pallet without chipping any paint or damaging the cabinet? Do a lot of these lift gate services help you move it into your garage or game room? Thanks for any advice!
