Would any of you ship to Hungary? A guy from there wants to buy a PCB I'm selling. Seems like an ok person.

I was thinking to have him pay actual shipping plus the price in the ad and have him pay with paypal gift. With no guarantees since its over-seas. Paypal gift will protect me right?

If he is willing to do PayPal Gift then there's no reason not to sell to him. If he wants to do regular PayPal, it's up to you. I've shipped all over and have only run into one issue. The one issue resolved itself as I had myself protected with insurance and the guy was trying to scam me as he never showed up to his local post office to follow through with the claim. That was a guy in Italy. Otherwise, the only continent I haven't shipped to is Africa. No problems with any of the other people.

The only problems I have had shipping overseas have been with Italy and Mexico. I have had shit get to Baghdad on time, ITaly not so much.

If he does a gift payment you are set if not make him pay for the tracking and insurance.

Thats funny,i got an ebay message today from a guy in italy claiming he didnt receive his item yet. It will make it but takes about a month. Ive had problems big problems with africa and australia but nowhere else and I have shipped everywhere. I say fill out the green form and go for it!

I have had problems with Europe in general, so I won't ship there unless I know the person.

Sending via gift waives your ability to file a claim.

This is true.

PayPal Gift money is the receivers money, with no strings attached.

When in Doubt (or Arms-Length):: Pack like a TANK:

00. Describe item--with Pictures--and price (shipped),
01. Anti-static Bag or News Paper (just to be on the safe side),
02. BIG BUBBLE WRAP (soft shock absorber) (if it's pink then it's anti-static too),
03. USPS PM BOX(s) (durable shock absorber) (32 lbs crush proof at the corners :) :)) ,
04, Anti-static Popcorn (soft shock absorber),
05. Big Brown "Double" Box--with LOTS of Packing Tape (Holds everything together),
06, PACKING SLIP (Item Id doc),
07. PRIORITY MAIL Shipping Label (reduces shipping damage),
7A. CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORMS (anti-seizure doc),
08. DELIVERY CONFIRMATION (anti-loss / proof of service),
09, SHIP INSURANCE (for the maximum class value) (Buyer's Protection against physical damage.),
10. Write "FRAGILE" on the Shipping Label (for Ship Ins. Purposes),
11, PayPal GIFT (Seller's Protection),
12. PRAY--for good luck (It can only help :D), and
13. Hand package to Desk Clerk (for Ship Ins. Purposes).

Hope this info helps.

:)

Why so scared for shipping overseas?

I used to be an Ebay Power seller from 98 untill 2004 and these were expensive items like vintage wristwatches.
I shipped all around the world, not that much problems ever.
Paypal used to be ok but nowadays sucks and is way to protective to the buyer.
I seen Paypal start, grow and become the bastards they are now.

I say most of you US folks are way to scared for shipping overseas, I seen yellowdog said stuff about Europe.
C'mon you cant be that narrowminded, in most countries in Europe we got shit organised way better then most other countries around the world.

I tell you one thing though, all stuff said about Italy is 100% true.
This is the one country in Europe that is known to have a completely unrealiable postal sytem.
