I have a Sharp XM1801N that seems to have a odd issue. It seems to display the image at 3 different locations on the screen. It looks alot like when you connect a standard res monitor to a Med. res PCB. This monitor came from a Red Tent. If another monitor is hooked up to RT, it looks fine, so problem seems to be with Sharp monitor. I tried all adjustments with no change. Chassis is clean with no hacks/upgrades. Any ideas on what to check?
Thanks for any info/ideas
Aaron

Not yet. So far this chassis is bone stock. I am going to order cap kit, but was wondering if there may be something else that may be needed (transistors, diodes, resistors, etc.) to help resolve this issue.
Thanks

In your 3rd picture, you see that little switch on the chassis? I recall having a weird image issue when I got a replacement monitor for my Red Tent. I flipped that switch and the image was corrected. I can't recall off hand what the switch does, but I verified on my Red Tent the switch should be slid towards the closest edge of the chassis.

Well this is embarrassing. Did not originally see that there is another set of adjustments UNDER the FRONT of the tube. Played with them and monitor is now crisp an clear. Still going to recommend a cap kit, but otherwise all is well again.
Thanks everyone
Aaron
