I just replaced the flyback and I hooked it up. All that is on the screen is 1 red dot, 1 blue dot, and 1 green dot all in the middle of the monitor about the size of a pencil eraser.
I double checked my work and have no idea whats going on. The yoke is still good so that can be ruled out.

Any ideas?

Bump for the night crew.
Im having my daughters B-Day party in the arcade this weekend and the kiddos need some Mario Bros!

Can you show a pic? Is the yoke connector on? Is the white wire connected from the flyback to the neck socket properly? Red wire is connected to the neckboard corner? Use the right flyback?

If you're getting 3 dots of those colors separately, it sounds like your convergence is off, too...

I re-installed the flyback and no there are no 3 dots or anything else for that matter. No neck glow either. Before I put this flyback in, I had a picture it was just all jacked up and then came the smoke and fireworks. I know the HOT is good and the yoke is good. What should I start looking at now?

fuses, if you get nothing. then check the B+ pin near the flyback. If it was "all jacked up", that might have been caused by the power regulator there by the flyback...

The fuses are good and so is the hot. Is the power regulator at 1701 near the 2.5 fuse and how do I check it?

Thanks

Check it with a meter set to diode test. Look up online how to test a voltage regulator with a meter.

I had one that would buzz from the flyback area and the picture would look like everything was sort of skewed or vibrating with the buzz, like big time radio interference. The picture would ALMOST come into focus for a few seconds, then go like that and be buzzing. Even though my I701 seems to test okay, I replaced it anyway and the problem went away...
