Sharp Image SI-325/6 25" monitor chassis with 'uneven brightness issue'

Does anyone know which capacitor is responsible for this issue? I don't want to buy a cap kit if all that I need is one capacitor. I know that the K7000s have a similar issue and replacing just one cap fixes it.

Thanks for the help.

Just wanted to update this thread. It will certainly help someone in the forum at some point.

The fix to this problem is to replace capacitor C904 33uf at 200v. Forum member 'dbsyrny' was instrumental in finding out this information.

Thanks

Keep in mind.

All the sharp chassis family
could have that symptom.

Also can look like jail bars
poor filtering on the video B+ line
from the flyback.

Most chassis are different with part locations
but same basic idea look for a bad cap off the fly,
always volts around 200v or better.
most of the time its got a electrolytic leakage on one leg.
And will fail after a few years.
