I've got a Sharp Image SI-320 Z monitor chassis that recently died. The 3amp fuse was blown along with the HOT. I replaced them and they both blew within seconds. It looks exactly like the following chassis except the PCB board is grey:

I'm not having much luck finding schematics for this monitor. I emailed sharpimagemonitors.com but after waiting two weeks for a response they emailed me back saying they don't have any manual or schematics for it. The chassis also has KI-2-VO on the upper right hand corner.

Anyone have any schematics/parts list for this monitor? Thanks.

I've had this monitor shelved for awhile and I'm coming back to it now. Still looking for a manual or schematics for it. The markings say:

Sharp Image SI-320Z

Also has KI-2-V0 in the upper right hand corner of the chassis. The layout is very similar to that of a Wells K7000 series monitor.

The 3amp fuse is blown along with the HOT.

Thanks.

Bump on this. Tonight I pulled the chassis, removed the bad HOT (it didn't have a mica insulator on it), installed a new HOT (1398) with a mica insulator and thermal compound along with a new fuse. Fired it up and within a couple of seconds the fuse on the chassis blew along with the line fuse on my test fixture. Pulled the chassis and the HOT was blown again.

I don't see any damage on the flyback but I'm thinking it's probably bad as I've blown 2 HOTs.

Thoughts?
