Sharp Image 33" Standard res monitor, complete, working, Menasha WI

CORRECTION: It's 34", not 33.

It's a Sharp Image, appears to be a KTM-F family. It came out of a Dynamo Showcase and still has the Dynamo serial stickers. I know for a fact it works, all three colors are there and bright, may have some slight geometry issues. It's so clean it's kinda creepy -- I don't think I've seen a monitor so much as half its age with so little dust. Very slight Virtua Striker 3 burn, you can't see it when it's on even if you're looking for it.

I can't be arsed to hook it up and show it running unless someone's actually interested in it, so let me know.

I DO have the remote board. At this time, I haven't done anything more than unload the machine, so the remote board is still screwed into the side of the cabinet at the moment.

If you want just the chassis (boards), I'm willing to ship it; I actually could use the frame. If you want the whole monitor, tube and all, you'll have to come to my garage and pick it up. Hell, if you don't mind not having a frame, I'll give you the tube and chassis together for FREE. (But you still have to pick it up.)

If no one makes an offer in the next few days I'll figure out a price to list.

I had Three of 34" and nobody jumped to buy them for $5 bucks so I had to donate them! hope this will sell in your area =).. BUMP FOR HUGE ARCADE MONITOR!! Wished I could make a cocktail out of it! LOL! (stole gackattack s idea) =)

Ow. I guess I should just junk it, dump the tube at a recycling center, sell off the chassis and use the frame for a much nicer monitor that happens to be exactly the same size.

Yes, that's a threat. You guys have until next Monday. Or until I make a deal with someone to sell just the chassis, whichever comes first.

man, i have this monitor on a showcase cab that gets dark and then squeezes in a little after a while of play, would swapping the chassis fix it? Image is perfect the minute it turns on

man wmacmonagle you should of told me you had some! im like 1 hour from you LOL

If you haven't junked it yet, is the remote board a SW-801? I'm new to this whole arcade world and I'm not sure where to find a replacement. I'm not sure of the monitor in mine but it is a 33'' or 34'' Sharp Image - Dynamo Cabinet.

Not sure... I'd have to look. If you want I can take closeups of the PCB so you can see the layout and hack together your own, but I want to keep the chassis, at least, together as a set.

You can tell from the tube number, which will be on a sticker affixed directly to the back of the tube. IIRC, A 33" will start with A84, 34" A86.

First time I noticed this post and the obligatory: "If you where closer".

It makes me sad to see a CRT wasted. I stockpile them even if they are broken in hopes that if I can get in to repairing my own monitors or someone needs one, I will have it. I think these will one day be almost impossible to find as the selection grows thinner and thinner. I also understand one only has so much room though. :/

If you're going to the auction in Milwaukee in May, I can stuff it in my car for you. Likewise MGC.

I'll have to get back to you on the monitor deal later tonight. I do have another question thou, since this came out of a dynamo showcase cabinet, do you have the trim that holds the plexiglass in? I'm trying to track down one of the sides - also going to try calling the place where I got it from.

I might be inclined to actually drive that far for the parts. I believe it's a 4 hour drive, but worth it to have a spare backup. As long as I can get it into the car.

I think I have that trim, but I'm more than likely going to need it, as I have the cabinet itself and I'm NOT junking it -- it's just getting a different monitor.

It fit in the backseat of my Lumina-II no problems. Let me know :)

Sadly I'm not. :/ No extra cash to spend on more complete games at the moment. I miss the days where I was bringing home a new game every few months.

tempting. I do have an empty showcase cabinet. What are you looking for in price I may be interested.

Hm, let me stew on it. My plans changed quite a bit since I originally posted this and I'm gonna be making a custom rotating frame for the Kortek... I'd like to have that frame blueprinted out before I sell this one, just in case.

Well guess I won't make that drive out there after all. Which is fine, it's about a 9-10 hour round trip for me. I'll just have to find that trim piece another place. The arcade place doesn't have it.. so it probably fell out on the way home off the back of the truck (just my luck).
