Hi all. I have this shark steam cleaner - shoots out a fine hot mist. I use it on my pin boards. Cleans them up nicely. I guess its a step up from the canned air (except it cleans with the mist).

Wondering - can i just open a vid and spray away? Is there anything i need to be aware of / risk of damage?

Please understand - the video experience is new to me (afraid of the monitor!) so i must be certain so as not to ruin anything.

I also take harnesses / boards / coin doors and throw them in the dishwasher. Any trouble with that for 20+ year old games?

Thanks.

Just make sure you let the electronics dry out completely. If you are going to steam a cab, I'd think twice. If its MDF you could create swelling. I'd get a bucket with some water, spray cleaner and a rag. Wipe it down and dry it off, don't soak it.

Monitors are easy, don't fear them. I've discharged dozens and dozens and NEVER got the pop.
