Last year I created a shadowbox with video in it, today I made something much cheaper and simple. Its a 8" x 10" shadow box with printed graphics for the bezel and inside. Now I have to make them for many other games. :)

Edit: For anyone who missed the video version. Check it out here.

Dude, that is awesome! Great idea and execution. Now you need to paint the frame light blue and route it for t-molding (white, of course) ;).

I think you're about to get slammed with orders for these.

It's funny you ask that, I actually put in a order tonight for some EL light panels. So when those come in I will be able to see how it looks. Only downside is the EL panels have to be plugged in, unless I figure out a battery powered turn on/off switch for these.

And for everyone else I will figure out what it will cost to build and ship these. I got this shadow box for 50% off at hobby lobby, but I bought the last one. I will go there tomorrow and see if they can order me 10 or so more of them. I could just sell the decal kits for these as well if you wanted to build your own.

Awesome! Is it back lit?

Very cool ! I also like the tablet PC version as well .

It has to be back lit some how , some type of battery powered light . I'm sure theres something cheap out there . Maybe an LED type flash light ?

It might be too much work , but on the Tablet PC version , if you could add a Marquee that actually lights up , it would be perfect . Stick that on the wall and play games and it would be a mini arcade game .

Made some more of these today.. Just have to paint the frames the correct colors and the Nintendo collection will be as done as I need it. :) Then off to others..
