Looking for some tips to beat my son at Street Fighter. I just picked up this pcb and we've been having a lot of fun with it.

Are there any really good websites that explain techniques/moves?

Also, is there a certain joystick (brand) that works best for this game?

Thanks

-Throw out high priority moves

-Block and punish

Assuming you're a beginner, never jump. It makes you incredibly vulnerable and doesn't provide any tactical advantage. Instead, learn to block the hits.

Learn th special moves for your character. Especially in Turbo it's a game of projectile management for most characters and trying to mindgame your opponent with them. On the flip side, learning to block projectiles will be your most important defensive technique early on.

Great game! If you go to gamefaqs.com and look up that game on there they have plenty of guides for that game and many others.

Lower his allowance every time he beats you and/or threaten to cut him out of the will.

I've been doing it wrong since 1992! Lol I jump a lot to mix things up... you have to if your up against Ryu or Ken with the spam hadokens. Blocking them will chip away slowly at your energy bar. I prefer to jump when needed so as to be aggressive.
