My glass has been reduced to a million tiny sparkling pieces.

Picked up a Street Fighter II CE Hyper Fighting 25" in a Dynamo yesterday and the [bezel] glass was a royal pain in the neck to get out. I mean it was really REALLY tight. It took all my strength to pull it down. I really thought I would break it getting it out, but I didn't. INSTEAD.... I made it all the way home 2 hours..... and broke it taking it out of the van. *sigh*

SO.... how far UP is that glass supposed to tuck into the upper slot? I think it may have been just too tall. I could move it up and down a bit with slight resistance when installed, but no movement when I tried to tuck it out. And what kind of clearance left-to-right? I'd like to get it cut right the first time. Or at least know if a used one is the right size!

Anyone want to measure theirs for me?

Is there a glass thread on here that has this type of info? I'm not having much luck with a search.

Thanks all!

I don't think they are different, but you should specify which dynamo. hs5 or hs9. if you could not get it out, then maybe you have some cabinet swelling.

*EDIT* Knowing the cab ID# to look for, I found the dimensions from searching hs5. 1/4" x 25 3/4 x 25 3/4. Thanks mrbill2084!
Now I need one. Anybody have one near Philly/AC NJ area?

Ah. That would be hs5, thanks.

I'll inspect for swelling, but this thing is pretty clean and I did not notice any when I checked it over.... no lumps, no board edge showing at the T-moulding. Screws aren't sucked in. No discoloration inside or out. Though I didn't look specifically in the upper slot. However, I imagine it would be pretty weird to be ONLY swollen up there.
