If anyone checks this out I'd be interested to know how it goes, it's not too far from me but I'm busy on the 16th. Public auctions are interesting. I went to a public auction once that had a trashed non-working Meteor, the thing had a 'buy-it-now' price (already too high) on the floor and the auctioneer brought it out and it went for twice the buy it now price. I think people get caught up in the bidding fever and just want to win, regardless of what junk they're getting. So this could be a $100 Defender or a $2000 Defender depending on how bad the crazy grandma who just won the auction for the box of depression glass and yarn wants it.
