Seven A-list NIB pins for sale on eBay ...

I agree with you 100%. The seller would have been much better off listing only one game at a time. Perhaps he is in desperate need of some quick cash?

The thought crossed my mind. Which, if that's the case, means he's more willing to negotiate. :)

According to IPDB, they made around 900 Cactus Canyons. Not nearly as rare as BBB, which had 14, and then roughly 200 remakes.

It's value is attributed, I think, in the somewhat low numbers and because it was williams last dmd game before pin2k.

ok lets not split hairs! 900,200, 500= VERY RARE

adams family 10000+ not rare yet still collected

Yep agreed. A few of the games are what I call status games anyway. No way are they that much fun for that much money.
I would bet he's got very little money invested in these and I'm sure he can sit on these as long as he wants. Lord knows the CPU boards are probably thrashed because the batteries have leaked all over hell. Personally I hope he does get that kind of money for them. Only deep pocketed people can afford stuff like that. I have a champaign taste with a beer budget.

I'm not trying to split hairs. There is simply a huge difference between 210 units and 900 units. 900 is "not common". 200 is certainly rare.

Champion pub was around 1300 and Airbone was also around the same. Neither of those are considered especially rare or collectible despite their low numbers.

Same seller has this in their feedback, so they've sold at least one expensive pinball machine before:

SAFE CRACKER PINBALL - NEW IN THE BOX - TOKEN PIN (#110363190795) US $10,000.00

sorry mark, but your incorrect, CACTUS CANYON will bring the most, its almost as rare as bbb , this game brings 10k out of the box, 12-13 wouldnt surprise me although i wouldnt/couldnt see spending that much on one pin evarrrrr

I don't know man, CC is rare but the audience for MM is so much bigger, seems like EVERYONE wants that game now. You have to find the right buyer to get the big bucks for a CC, on the other hand MM will have crowds trampling each other fighting over it like women at Kohls on Black Friday :)

RARE is RARE,

crazy, im not saying there wont be as much interest in mm, but a mm can be had easier than a cc hence the difference in price
