Seven A-list NIB pins for sale on eBay ...

I understand its a violation, but nothing like the old school business No bs fees just Cash and Carry!

I don't disagree but that's not my point. If he wants to sell them on ebay he should follow ebay policy. Whether I agree or disagree with those policies is totally irrelevant. I guess what I'm really saying is that it's stupid to be so up front with obvious policy violations.

I live near this guy... I can confirm it is very real. He bought them from an op many years ago and has been selling a few for the last couple of years. Some titles he has/had multiples of (x5)- like CC and MM...

That's one lucky guy sitting on gold

I'm not that far from Milwaukee, and I would consider making an offer on a couple of them, but I really have no idea what a fair price is on most of them. The only one that I even have a frame of reference for is NGG, since Pat's recently went for $6,500. In my eyes, the price would have to be less than a fully restored machine from a place like HEP, since I perceive those to actually be better than new. Does anybody else agree with this logic? I'm curious to know what you guys think would be fair prices for these particular NIB titles.

It really depends on what machine your looking for and NIB NGG would probably be worth around 5k and the NGG that Pat sold is probably worth 6500.00 because it was PAT LAWLOR"S machine and it will hold its value. The Medieval machine is going to fetch the most money and thats what everyone i'm pretty sure is going after first.I"m sure you know that already lol!

sorry mark, but your incorrect, CACTUS CANYON will bring the most, its almost as rare as bbb , this game brings 10k out of the box, 12-13 wouldnt surprise me although i wouldnt/couldnt see spending that much on one pin evarrrrr

Sorry i overlooked Cactus canyon in the ebay listing and your right CC is very rare and i couldnt see myself spending that much on a pin

Cactus Canyon is a pretty kick ass game too, played it as the Pinball Hall of Fame in Vegas.

The question for me would be...if I ever got my hands on one of these could I bring myself to take it out of the box and play it? Yeah I think I'd slap some leg protectors on it, do a little preventative maintenance and enjoy the prize.

I think the main mistake the person is making is listing all these games at once. There is a relatively small audience for these high dollar NIB games and putting them all out there at the same time could cost him 1 - 2k per game.

Don't buy NIB, that's my suggestion, unless you are REALLY REALLY rich or something. If you want a super nice machine, just buy a fully restored one...

It sounds like you believe these machines will indeed end up selling for more than a fully restored one. This is what I feared, but it doesn't make any sense to me unless the buyer is purchasing them strictly for investment purposes.

I agree with you 100%. The seller would have been much better off listing only one game at a time. Perhaps he is in desperate need of some quick cash?

According to IPDB, they made around 900 Cactus Canyons. Not nearly as rare as BBB, which had 14, and then roughly 200 remakes.

It's value is attributed, I think, in the somewhat low numbers and because it was williams last dmd game before pin2k.
