Seven A-list NIB pins for sale on eBay ...

Its a legit scam...
Yes he has those pins NIB but is anyone going to pay that kind of money?
MM and CC MAYBE
But I doubt the others will fetch his reserve price (which might as well be the BIN price from what Ive heard)

But once again what is an item like that really worth?
Whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

new or not, none of those pins is worth 20 grand imo.
i wonder if any of them will sell at that price.

Technically, $20,000 is just the "Buy it Now" price. You are welcome to make any offer you want. :)

Pics are the main key when selling and all you see is stock pics i dont think its real

Those are all 90s games, and pinball has always been collectible. So it is possible that they are NIB. For example, you know there are people sitting on nib stern pins from the 2000s right now. Just hoping it will be worth something in a few years.

Sounds to me like he is just fishing to see if he needs to drag them out of storage.

You know like the high priced SW/ESB kits on here lately.

I agree $20k is ridiculous, the eBay fee alone would be crazy stupid!

a NIB Black Knight recently pulled in 9K I think it was.

I hate that he has no pics, smells lke a scam, but maybe not, and someone may pay crazy prices for NIB. Not me. I'd rather buy used and be able to recoup SOME of my investment down the line :) Good luck to him though.

EDIT: In looking at his feedback, he has also sold a No Good Gofers NIB ($5700) and Safecracker NIB ($10,000), and has 100% feedback. These could be legit.

Assuming these are all legit, I think the seller is a moron. When you are trying to sell something at auction, particularly something this valuable, it's all about the presentation. This is one of the reasons why Treasure Cove does so well with their stuff on eBay. They have the best pics and videos of their machines that I have seen, bar none. Treasure Cove gets it, and this seller does not. There should be pictures of the sealed boxes, shipping labels, receipts, etc ... The seller should also give us some insight into the history of these games and where they have been all these years. To simply list them for auction without providing any additional information is just plain stupid. It makes people question the validity of the items, and this is hardly a good strategy if you want to maximize your profits.

This is totally against ebay policy:

"Game is for sale locally, upon an accepted offer I will end listing."

I bet these auctions will be gone soon.

He's trying to see how much he can get and then make a sale with the buyer outside of ebay
