got this 25" K7400 i was doing a capkit and flyback replacement on last night and trying to get one of the caps out of a mass of glue i broke the 10k pot for the x-ray circuit. i'm ordering a replacement from Bob tonight but of course the value was set at the factory via the aforementioned glob of glue.

can't find anywhere what the voltage readings should be for the new pot when i install it... sounds like it'll go into HV shutdown if it's too high but is there otherwise a specific setting i should shoot for, or can it just be low enough to not go into HV shutdown?

Hold your hand in front of the tube, and adjust the knob until you have a picture on the screen, *and* can no longer see the bones in your hand.

just as a follow-up, installed the new pot from Bob last night. had to adjust back and forth until it would power. turned it down until it shut off, then repowered with the pot turned up a little above the "cut-off" point. seems to work fine now.
