Hi, I have a rapid river arcade and when i turn on it displays sensor malfunction press start to go to temporary mode,It plays ok at the begining but wont go pass the pick bonus stages.Any help on how to fix will be gladly appreciated,Thank you

I have not found much info on this game but since it is pneumatic I would look for air hoses that are pinched, leaking or just hanging. If the game has a sensor/switch test mode I would give that a try.

What does it NOT do when you continue after the error that it would normally do (ie does it move the seat). I know it was stated that the bonus doesn't work but is there anything else?

I don't own one and have never seen one in person but sounds to me like the pneumatics is a potential problem area.

if nothing else a free bump

I found the main hose had a crack in it...fixed it..Still no luck
The ride test in the service function went though the motions....But the ride did not move..
You can hear clicking under the seat....theres signal...Scratching my head on this one...
Now when i plug the game in and it starts booting up,The compressor starts up and if the ride is low on pressure..you can see the platform raise up slowly...But during game and test mode,No movement..just clicking

Its like nothing is releasing the air in the bags...Whats crazy is the motion "board" which is not really a board at all...looks new..Untouched...the game is 16 years old but looks like it was in a time capsule...lol

if there is no movement it is probably a motor or air problem. Make sure the game is not restricted in the ability to move (right and left) but I suspect there is an air leak someplace or a motor is chocked/stuck. You might try to help it move when doing the tests to see if it is actually wanting to move or if it is just dead stuck. If it tries to move then it is probably an air leak or bad motor. If it is dead stuck the motor is got something stuck in the gear or the air hose is clogged.

Good luck and I hope somebody that knows more about that game will chime in and be of more help to you.
