Selling your Grails?

I get the rarity, but I guess I differ where I only want to own a game that I enjoy playing. I just don't get the playability of those games, as an adult. To each his own. I have some odd things in my collections, so what can I say.

Yeah , just because somethings rare doesn't mean it's any good. Normally there's a reason the only make a small abount of something, because nobody wants it and it sucks.

For a long time I considered RoadBlasters to be a personal grail. I got one for free and fixed it up, and ended up selling it to make room/funds for Tron. At least its easily replaceable and affordable if I need my fix again.

I'm 'Still' kicking myself for selling the following (due to a divorce)

2x Atari Super Sprints (one was in original shape and in superb condition)
Atari Roadblasters (cockpit)
2x Atari 720 (one fully restored)
Sega Michael Jackson's Moonwalker (3 player)
Sega Out Run Deluxe

Pee'd right off missing out on a Marble Madness as I didn't have the cash that week.

I still have the following:

Peter Packrat (never selling)
Space Ace
Gauntlet

I waited a long time to get a Ms. Pac Man. Got it cheap and she was a beauty. Someone offered me 8 Benjamins out of the blue and with as many Ms Pacs as they have made, it was hard not to say no.

Drew, we are talking about grails here...

The only game more grail-like than Ms. Pac is Arkanoid. :D

I beg to differ. 99.99% of the ms pacs out there are completely faded and beat to shit, scabby looking junk.

if you want a really nice one with excellent paint, you are going to be looking for a LONG time

my wife wanted one, that's what got me into this hobby

looked around for 2 years to find a good one

i kept it hidden in the garage for 4 months behind a bunch of cardboard boxes until xmas eve, rolled the heavy bastard into our living room after she went to sleep

then i got hooked
