Sage at Rusty Quarters, Minneapolis MN. We have a Q*Bert that we would like to trade/ trade+$$$ for a working fighting game or a Neo Geo.

The game itself is in pretty good condition with almost no ware on the sides. The power assembly has be recently recapped. Power supply is about 3 months old.

So why are we getting rid of it? well right now it's not working. I've check fuses, power supply, wires, power box.... I just can't get it to work. The screen has picture but I get is the startoff pixel screen. I've had two of my arcade buddies take a look at it and thinking it must the PCB... but honestly your guess is as good as mine.

Since we're a arcade, I need a working replacement game asap. We would like to do a trade/trade+$$$ for either a fighting game or a neo geo with fighting game carts. Because of our 10+ hr work schedule, I will not be able to pickup or drop off either game. Q*Bert must be picked up and fighter game dropped off.

I'll list a whole bunch of pics. please send me a private message if interested.

Some front shoots. The Bezel is originally with some cracks on the artwork.

Why don't you send the board to Mrbill08? He can fix the CPU board for you and is very reasonable. In my opinion the only reason for getting rid of a game that is located in an arcade is because it is not earning enough money to justify it being there. Does the game get played when it is working?

Good luck on your sale/trade. Our Qbert was giving me all sorts of trouble but after installing a switcher it's been great. Also, yours has the cool coin door. Are you sure those connectors are ok? They look really burnt. The one connected to the switcher I mean.

A question, why don't you key all your locks the same? They're like $2 each and it saves so much time.

We're spend $$$ to get it working and just can't afford to spend any more $$$ for repairs on our shoestring budget. Even though we love this gem, I need to get another moneymaker in here asap.

Are you looking for a dedicated cabinet? I have a generic cabinet with super street fighter II marquee setup for cps2. I have soul calibur and also a neogeo one slot.

There's reasons for the many keys but can't talk about it online.Trade secret.

This cracks me up.....I was in the arcade business for 12 years and can't imagine any secret reason to have that many keys....only trade secret I would recommend is tokens and token mechs for all your games to take the theft level down about 100%....surely all your coin meters aren't working to track the quarters properly.

I'd really like tokens in my arcade. I could give them out as a bonus to people buying stuff. It'd be swell. I might so it with some extra xmas sales cash. Been toying with the idea for months. Not that I have any theft problems, I just think it'd be cool and a nice bonus for people buying games.

Agree its simple logic. They give you $1 they get tokens worth nothing. You will always have that dollar even if they dont use all the tokens.
