I sanded down the shift knob to my sega turbo because it was in rough shape. I'm trying to figure out how to bring the original color back and then seal it.

Anyone know a good wood stain match? Was it stained or just clear coated?

I have 2 turbos and a monaco gp and the colors vary a bit on all 3 shifter knobs, but appear to be stained.
If you go with a colonial maple or golden oak stain you should be fine. I think natural will be a little too light.

I'm going to be doing the same thing with my game this summer. Please share pictures of your results and what product you used. Thanks!
