SEGA TURBO - Western Mass - $300 - REALLY NICE! - 20" Monitor Version

One of the nicest SEGA Turbos I have ever seen. 20" Monitor was rebuilt by Chad at Arcade Cup. Looking for $300. Reliable game and works perfect.

Works 1000%. LED displays are bright and perfect. Monitor is nice. Side art is nearly perfect. Bezel is nice. Marquee light works. New Gas pedal spring. Everything works!

If you are a fan of this game and have been wanting one, here it is.

Here are some pictures. These photos are when I first got it. I have since cleaned it up and replaced the shifter knob with a NOS one! (Thanks, bri!)

Yea that's something i've learned is it's almost not worth getting a monitor fixed anymore, it's almost better to find a p.o.s. working cab and swap parts out. Did that with my primal rage recently for cheaper than i could fix my monitor, and i can sell the extra parts. Really nice John, would like to have one someday.

That's a thing of beauty. Is that the same as Monaco GP in that it only uses integrated circuitry for the game... no CPU per se?

Looks like it has a working tach too. (Don't have youtube at work so I can't see videos if it was shown.)

I normally fix the monitors myself. This turbo was bad timing as I just got done with capping/fixing most of my collection and was totally burnt out on monitors. And, it is a 20" NANAO which I never touched before. And, it was DEAD. So, I sent it to Chad. He brought it back to life and capped it, etc. No regrets. But, it just makes me sad that a beautiful game like this can't get $300! It's a significant game. This game changed the face of racing games foreva!

Pretty sure there is a CPU. The tach on these games are non-functioning. They light up, that's it.

It would if it was a few hundred miles closer to me! It's in such awesome condition cosmetically from the photo.

Well, I'm not sure about the Turbo's "CPU" but I can tell you that tachometer is supposed to work.

There is a specific lead for it and it receives a signal if correctly hooked up. There is a youtube video of a Monaco GP showing the tachometer working.

The tach on the "stand" edition or the one that people call a cabaret or a mini isn't even real. It's just painted on. But if there is a lit tach, then I'd say a signal wire is not hooked up or the tachometer has stopped functioning properly.

fantastic game, i have one and got so many boards to try and get mine working 100%, good luck on the sale, this is a gem of a game :)

The tach only functions on the cockpit version. The cockpit version has an LED tach. I believe the gauges on the upright are labeled oil and vacuum. Not RPM. They just light up. I have taken them apart. They are just dummies with lights.

Aw, man. That's too bad. That makes sense then. Wish I could come and see it.

John, I think if you signed either the machine or the marquee you could probably get more for it. The game just being in theee basseeemenntt should add some value to it :D

Ha! I'll do whatever it takes to make the room I need in the basement.

Still available at $275. I don't think I'll go any lower than that. Otherwise, I'll just bring it to work. I do like the game and this thing is a beauty. Again, if you want a Turbo, THIS IS THE ONE.

I have had a few people contact me about shipping the game. I am not opposed to this but realize I don't have a pick-up truck so I can't deliver a palletized game. If I were to ship I'd want to do a bitchin' pack job and palletize it here first. But, then I'd have now way to deliver it. So, keep that in mind.
