Sega Turbo - Nanao monitor, no neck glow, yet getting voltage. Fuses good.Need ideas.
I picked up a Sega Turbo and the game plays blind. I was thinking I would take it home and throw one of my spare WG monitors in it. WRONG. This is a 100V monitor. Ugh.
So, I guess I'll try to fix it. It looks brand new.
Anyways, I am getting 100V to the monitor. I am also getting the 12V or so for the separate degaussing circuit on the monitor. The fuses are good. But, I get no neck glow. I get nothing from the monitor.
My first instinct was to test the B+ but I am not sure where to do that on this monitor. I have the manual. And, it looks like there is a VR on the chassis with some glue on it. I am guessing that's the pot I want.
Anything else I should know or consider? I have never encountered this monitor and am finding limited documentation online.
Thanks!
