Hey guys,
So I have been trying to fix my Turbo boards for a while. My cars are way too tall. I started a thread about getting if fixed here http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=152456 Upon doing a little digging I found out that there was a hacked version of Turbo called Pontiac Wide version or something. I don't know if the version I have is this or I do have some problems with my boards. I have attached some new pics to show you what I am seeing. Anyone know if this is indeed the hacked version???

Turbo big cars

Actually to my understanding there were two versions. The first one where the cars are fairly small and a second one where the cars are larger. They made the 2nd one so it would be harder which it certainly was. I had both boards once and could tell the difference although the "larger cars" version was not as big as what you have pictured. It did make it more challenging as I couldn't usually make it past the 2nd round whereas the original version, I could play that for 5 rounds or so.

I have two extra boardsets for turbo that are not hacked for sure. They work with some graphics issues. I think having the eproms reprogramed would do it ( hobbytron for like $30). Let me know if they would be of interest to you.
