Hello. I just picked up a Sega Turbo and when I finally got it home and running, I noticed the "snow" level has a graphic problem. I started looking at the PCB and noticed that the white connector for "G" had no wires connecting to it. I was wondering if there is a connector that isn't connected that could be causing this problem? I can't find any connector in the cab and all the the other letters A, B, C, D, E, F, & H have connectors connected to them. Is my PCB missing a connection? I thought about re seating the chips but before I do that I want to make sure there isn't a missing connector. Thanks

I don't remember specifically which letter it is in my Turbo, but I have an upright and I also have one port with nothing plugged into on my boards. I'm guessing it's for the tach in the sit-down version, but I don't know. I can confirm later which letter is unused, but I am pretty certain this isn't the cause of your issue, re-seating those ROMs is probably the way to go. I get occasional glitches in mine, a re-seat always clears them up.

Regards,
Ryan

Thanks for the reply. I will reseat them soon

Edit: I think it's fixed. Are the bottoms of the trees suppose to be pink/white on that level? And are the cars suppose to be pink/white when they get far from you on that level? Thanks

I double checked mine to make sure I have the letter correct. Only the cockpit version used "G". It was used for an LED tach/speedometer that was only on the cockpit model. There is a dip switch setting to switch between cockpit and upright, which toggles whether this is enabled or disabled.
