I have a Sega Titan ST-V motherboard that hums as soon as I connect the Jamma harness to it. It does not even have to be turned on for this to happen and it doesn't happen with any other game.

I am using Die Hard Arcade as the cart and everything else works. It has full sound, but the humming is loud enough to almost be louder than it.

Does anyone know what could be wrong here?

Does the actual PCB Hum (Inductor Noise?) or is it coming over the speakers?

Chances are it's an electrolytic cap in the audio circuit. Anything blown or leaking on the board?

Right, sorry. It's coming from the speakers.
And no, nothing looks blown or anything. The board is very clean and looks almost mint.

You have SOMETHING miswired if it is doing that even with the cab off.

Do you have the 110v ground connected to the PC board ground somewhere? Something odd is going on.
