So this fall I bought a "working" Sega Thunder Blade with a "rebuilt monitor
with new flyback.".

Well, didn't plug it in on site, got it home to find out that "working means...

No video.

When I originally got the game home and plugged it in, it did have audio...
for about 4 seconds. Then nothing.

No Audio.

Well, after spelunking through it, the monitor was flat out toast.
Swapped in one of my few remaining 19" monitors and it came up!
So, THAT's good at least.

But the game still has NO audio what so ever.

I did a full cap kit on the audio amp PCB with NO luck at all.
I'm wondering if maybe there's an audio IC out someplace on the board.

Anyone have any better ideas/experience with these Sega cabs?

It always amazes me as to what people will sell as "workin" nowa daze.
