Looking to turn a system 8 that a friend has sitting around into something that can play a 60-1 pcb. Is there any "easy" way to do this or are we just going to be matching up wires to a jamma harness? Or is there something wrong with my plan that I'm not seeing. Thanks in advance everyone!

Easiest just to rewire the thing with a new jamma harness, most places that sell the 60 in 1 will also sell those for $10 or $12. You may have to swap the monitor to vertical if it isn't already that way.

Box up the original wiring with the circuit board that came out of the game.

If your monitor won't turn to vertical then you are going to need to go with the 19 in 1 board instead.

Cool, thanks for the reply, just wanted to make sure we weren't missing something in this, before we start messing with the wires. Thanks again!

I also suggest getting both a 4-way joystick and an 8-way joystick and installing them both on the panel (both wired up to the same joystick inputs) as the 60 in 1 board freely mixes 4-way and 8-way games.
