I've finally gotten my monitor running on it.
Couple issues:

1) During a game, sometimes when I press the red button to call for assistance in-game, it will immediately shut the game down (monitor stays on).

2) Joystick calibration is terrible, wiggles around, and in calibration the numbers don't stay still - is this likely a clean-the-pot issue?

3) When I flip the controls (so down is up when playing), it also flips to left is right. Not sure why. When the controls are not flipped (up is up, down is down), the right and left are correct.

4) Lastly, when I am in the service menu, the "Input Test" option just flashes the screen for a split second but basically stays on the main service menu.

I would appreciate any guidance while I work through this.

1) you probably have the lamp power (this is probably +12V) connected to the microswitch. you're dumping +12V to a place it shouldn't go and it's triggering the power supply shutdown.
2 and 3) the pots are probably wired wrong, you are correct if you use the joystick flip it should only affect up/down, not left/right also.
4) sounds like the switch that exits the input test is stuck closed? is your Test switch connected to a regular microswitch like for a Happ pushbutton and on NC instead of NO?

otherwise I would say @irepairsega will know better what to do. the game where I work isn't dedicated and I don't know if the wire colors are factory original.
