Sega Rally | Sega Rally 2 PCB Question

Hi Everyone,

I'm somewhat new to the hobby, so please forgive if this is a dumb question, but would I be able to swap out a Sega Rally board with a Sega Rally 2? I currently own a Sega Rally twin cabinet and want to swap if it's possible.

It's mostly the same, you just need to add 3.3v to the model 3 since Model 2 is 5 and 12 only

That I don't know.

M2A and M3S2 have completely different drive systems. You won't have any feedback on SR2 in a SR cab.

Thanks for clarifying that. I might just have to wait until a Sega Rally 2 cabinet goes on the market.

You can use a Daytona 2 cab. Directly compatible. You just have to swap Drive Bd ROM from D2 to R2. Music Bd same but just needs R2 ROMS. You can also use Super GT. Same Drive Bd but neds ROM swap. Music Bd is different but all connections same. You just need Music Bd for R2 and you are good to go. I suppose Dirt Devils is same as well as D2 if you can find one of those.
