I've been lucky, played them all, home & away, from Ridge Racer:Full Scale, Galaxian3 Theatres, WEC Le Mans Big Spin to R360, F-Zero AX Monster Ride, Virtua Formula, The Irritating Maze etc etc etc.

'The arcade cabinet's Deluxe Version seat would move in response to the way you handled it, with a standard style Sit-Down Version and a local multiplayer version being released later, dubbed the Twin-Cab Version.'

Sticking together two photos of New Mikado's buggered Taikan Power Drift coin-op side by side taken from different angles ain't fooling anyone and is lazy, patronising 'journalism'.

The Internet as per usual is useless in English for proper information, photos & videos. Sounds like some sort of exclusive to somewhere like a Joypolis type attraction to me but said locations started in 1994 which seems too late.

What's the story?

Cheers.

There are 2 Galaxy Force II Super Deluxe cabinets in North America as far as I know these are the only 2 left that are working in the public, both are being taken care of at their locations (there are probably more in the hands of collectors). There is also one in the basement of the Strong Museum of play (so that makes 3) but it is non-working at this time.

I am digging furiously for a working R360 that is available to the public for play but have yet to find one anywhere in the world though I have a couple possibilities on that, as it seems a museum in the Netherlands will have one to play once the museum is ready to open to the public, but it isn't open to the public yet.

I have played power drift, unfortunately the one that was near me is no more, but it was a very interesting game, though the vibrator motor was a bit...uhhh...weird....and very loud, and the north american version doesn't have the round metal bar on the back and the topper near the marquee on the cabinet as the one in Mikado does.

power drift is a cool game once you get the handling down. 25 courses + 2 extras.

sitdown >> upright

Hopefully by this summer we will have made the move to Delaware/Pennsylvania and my sit down power drift will be coming with us to the northeast.
It will be available for people to come over and play it. I know it is a hit with most people and probably gets the most love of all the games.
