Sega PCB ID request

Can anybody ID this SEGA PCB ?

Must be quite old seeing that the tracks were laid out "by hand".

Tranquilizer Gun?

Sega VIC hardware, ca. 1980.

According to this:

EPR-413 through EPR-428 might be one of two versions of Tranquilizer Gun.

The pinouts are the same as for Carnival, Pulsar, Head-On/Invinco, etc. If those are 2708s and they turn out to be bad, the board can be re-strapped to use more easily-dealt-with EPROMs.

Thanks ! That must be it. I studied the picture a bit more (zoomed) and it seems that before the word Upright there seems to be the word GUN. So that would make sense.

I actually just fixed my Tranquilizer Gun a couple weeks ago.. It had 13 bad ROMs (out of 16), a shorted tantalum on the +12, and an IC handling control inputs was holding a data line low. That was a fun one..

The game is pretty challenging & quirky. The cabinet is gorgeous though -- Sega kinda screwed us by sticking with the cheapo Gremlin cabs for just about everything.
