Sega Outrunners monitors keep going out then come back on ...sometimes
Howdy yallz,
I got this Outrunners that had one monitor out. Then one day it came back up. I adjusted the picture and it was nice for a few days ...it turned off and on fine. I was burning it in and when I came back it was playing blind (both monitors out). They are both getting power but neither have high voltage. The only way to even look at the chassis is to take the whole front of the game off and remove the monitors. Also I don't want to stick new monitors in there and then just have them go too. The damn thing is sold and paid for. It is suppose to be delivered tomorrow morning. I know that it may be the flybacks since sometimes they go in and out, but I am really looking for someone who has had this same problem. I wanted to check to see if it is a commonly know issue. It just seems weird that the one would go in and out...be fine then... both. It is getting around 126v AC which is a bit high, but I even hooked them up to a known good transformer and separate source still nothing. Please help!
