Here is what I have locally on CL but if anyone here is interested please feel free to PM me:
............................................

I have decided to sell my Sega Outrun Arcade Game. I spent many quarters in an Outrun growing up and absolutely love the game.

It is an awesome machine and would make an excellent addition to a basement, bar, or man cave.

Sadly due to a 90 degree turn in my basement stairwell I cannot get it downstairs. It deserves a loving home instead of sitting in my garage.

I spent many hours searching for parts and reconditioning the machine. The Bezel and Control Panel are in excellent restored shape with NO cigarette burns.

I am asking $950 or best offer (cash, cashiers check, or usps money order) or trade for a modern pinball machine (Funhouse Pinball preferred).

The game is available for pickup in Fargo, ND and would make an awesome Christmas gift.

Please note that the game is very heavy so bring help and an appliance mover.

Thank you.

Is that a crosswalk button installed there next to the coin door? For like a coin up button or something?

$950 obo

Wondering if anyone would be interested in giving my Outrun a good home. Feel free to PM me.

Thank you.

Bill

Yeah what is that green circle beneath the steering wheel? Explanation please! Thanks in advance! Free bump for a nice machine!

Thanks for the comments.

The big green button is the credit button. Many years ago someone decided to wire it up as the credit / free play button. Potentially the operator put it in when it was pulled from routes. I actually liked it and thought it added to the retro vibe so I left it.

I could remove it and vinyl up to the stripe decal? Thoughts?

Thanks.

Bill

Gorgeous machine! Only downside is that the repro side-art doesn't have the correct right-side art (mirrored from left side scan, then photoshopped text). I'm currently working on making correct full sets of side art, but have hit some stumbling blocks.

Still, that's a minor quibble for such a great looking cab. Great job!

Since you asked.....I feel the machine would show a lot better without the Giant Doorbell on it.....

Thank you all for the comments. Anyone else think the crosswalk button should go?

I dig it, but I am leaning that way but some more input is always appreciated.

More likely to sell without it?

Thanks again.

Bill

Hi Bill

have to say that in my opinion the distracting and silly button should, it looks out of place and spoils the cab for me

just my opinion obviously

nice outrun though!

good luck

It sticks out like a sore thumb on an otherwise really nice looking machine. I vote you get rid of it.

Well the people have spoken and I will remove the button ideally this weekend.

New question, Where to put the free play button? I have previously installed tiny free play buttons in the coin return slot (hidden and does effect the coin return).

Thanks everyone.

Bill

I was thinking hook it up on the back of the coin return button, on the back of the coin mechanism. Push the coin return button to credit up.
