Sega naomi rebuilding and mame cab conversion

its because it was not a beaten down game, it was a hard to find game that was stripped away for this emulated crap. It isnt to much of a big deal to me when its a candy cabinet but if it was a dedicated game, it would now be one less, you see?

So are you mad about there being one less because it decreases your chances of having one? Or does it hurt you because you items have souls? If you allready own one, then less of them is better for you because yours will hold value or increase in value as others are dissassembled. When people dissasemble their machines and sell the original parts, aren't they helping others keep their machine original? If you use reproduced artwork your not all original anyways. If you paited your cab, your not all original either. Should a crappy old machine stay old and crappy? Or should the owner do what they can to make a great appearance and get the use that they want out of the machine with non original stuff. Collecting perfect never used arcade equiment is awsome if thats what you want to do is collect. Some people just want to game. I bet you hate low riders too.

First. im not mad. I do not hate low riders? not even sure where that came from but my last cars frame rails were 1.25" from the ground (240sx)..

Second, your missing the whole point. I also never said anything about the game being perfect and all original. it was a universal cabinet in the first place..

What I meant was if you took apart your pac man that fully worked, and threw in an lcd screen and a 60in1 then yes that is one less pac man in the world, and there not making any new ones.. so that is one reason people get upset.

A pacman is an iconic game that plays one game, not at all a universal gaming system like a naomi or naomi 2 that is essentially a glorified sega saturn. I approve of this resto job and the mame convo. Selling the naomi2 kit pays off all the time and work put into restoring the cabinet which - to me at least - is more important. Best thing Italy has made since pizza (/sarcasm lol). Why not put a fully tricked out Hyperspin system in it? Too loud for the elegant look of the cabinet?
